George retired from Contura Energy as a coalminer after 46 years of service. George loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on the Greenbrier River.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Ashley Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Karen Ashley; children, Teresa Ashley, Annie Ashley, Felicia Clower (Ronald), Ariel Easterling (Joseph), Angela Cammack (Joey), Brandon Kincaid, and Preston Kincaid (Randi); siblings, Shirley Minton, Paula Jean Webb (Charles), Carolyn Sigmon (Sonny), Ella Bowman (Mack), and Mary Quesenberry (Pete); 16 grandchildren; and 1 Great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10:00 am.
