Franklin Delano Stevens

Born on March 22nd, 1934, in Ward, WV, he was the son of the late Grover Stevens, and Grace Littleton Stevens.

Franklin was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Franklin spent his days working a variety of jobs loyally, providing for his family with honest, hard work.

Franklin enjoyed flea marketing, attending church, and spending time with his beloved family.

In addition to his parents, Franklin was preceded in death by his wife Elsie; a daughter, Janice Tawney; and a granddaughter, Candy Kurtz.

Those left to cherish the memory of Franklin include daughters, Debbie Large (Byron), and Bonnie Synuria; a son, Frankie Stevens (Mary Kay); 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Franklin will be on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 at 1pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Pastor Garry Hall and Kaleb Pritchard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Franklin will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that a donation be made to Eccles Freewill Baptist Church.
