Estella “Frances” Dinkler 96 of 115 Crescent Road in Beckley, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 24, 2017. Born October 26, 1920 at Poca, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Santrock and Mary Estella Milam Santrock Haynes. Mrs. Dinkler was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church for 66 years where she served as Sunday School Teacher, church hostess, and prayer chain warrior. In addition, she visited the sick and helped anyone in need. Estella was educated in Kanawha County at Roosevelt High School, and received an associate degree in education at Beckley College. She was a teacher’s aide at Hollywood Elementary in Raleigh County for 20 years before retiring. She was known for her home-made rolls, a special treat for the entire family and friends. She didn’t preach how to be a Christian, she lived the life! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James C. Dinkler, two sisters Margaret Toney and Thelma Rowe, and two brothers Robert and Joe Santrock. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Joseph E. Osborne of N. Edwards, CA, two daughters Margaret Alliee Cole and husband Dana of Beckley, and Patricia Carol Alderman and husband Homer of Beckley; granddaughters, Belynda Osborne Shreckenegost of N. Edwards, CA, and Jelayne Curtis and husband Lenny of Clovis, NM; grandson, Adam Alderman and wife Amanda of West Chester, OH. Great Grandchildren, Amanda, Brian, Kristian, Madison, MacKenzie, Selby, Sydney, Zachary and Zaeden. She is also survived by special nieces Mrs. Mary Pierce, Mrs. Betty Allen both of Msbscott, snd Mrs. Mary Margaret Blankenship of Kistler, WV. A special thanks for the love and service that Dana’s sisters rendered to Frances: Brenda, Mary, and Ruth and niece MaryDawn, dear friends Joyce Clark and Beverly Taylor. The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 28, 2017 form 11:00am to 12:00pm at Calvary Assembly of God. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00pm Tuesday following the visitation at the church by Pastor John J. Jordan. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity. Pallbearers will be Adam Alderman, Gary Cole, Sam Croy, Max Priddy, Adam Rock, Robert Williams, and Honorary Pallbearer Mark Cole.
