Elmer Lee Price, 72, of Daniels and Saulsville, West Virginia, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2014.

He was the son of the late Garfield Price and Mazie Brooks Price and was born in Sabine, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Price was a Principal in Wyoming County, WV. He loved working in education and retired in 1994. He was a member of the Glen Fork Memorial Baptist Temple.

Mr. Price enjoyed restoring muscle cars, golfing, gardening, wholesale merchandising, and traveling. He never met and stranger and was there for so many with a hug and a smile.

Left to cherish his memory are the following family members:

His wife of 22 years, Linda Ballard Price of Glade Springs Resort, one brother, Paul Price and his wife, Peggy, Parma Heights, Ohio, and two sisters, Mary Boshell, Crystal Springs, FL, Jean Smith, Elizabethton, TN. Also, sadly missed by two special brothers-in-law, Ralph L. Ballard of Charleston, WV and Richard Ballard of Alpharetta, GA. Several nieces and nephews are also survivors of Mr. Price.

The funeral service for Mr. Price will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, WV, with Pastor Lealand Swor , of Mt. Pleasant Church of Elkview, WV, officiating. Music will be provided by the Stewart Family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service at Sunset Memorial Park on Harper Road in Beckley, WV. Pallbearers will include family and friends.
