Ellen Wilson Pettrey

Ellen Wilson Pettrey, 67, of White Oak, WV; went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2023 at Bowers Hospice House surrounded by her loving family following a short illness.

Born August 15, 1956 at Beckley, WV; she was a daughter of the late Dennis H. Wilson and the late Logene G. Conklin Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her brother, Dempsey Meador.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 33 years, Ralph Pettrey of White Oak; sisters, Elaine Denney and husband, Kennith of White Oak, Elva Meadows of White Oak, Shelby Walker and husband, O.D. of Shady Spring, and Elsie Calhoun of Bethel, OH; two brothers, Arnold Wilson of Willow Springs, NC, and Glenn Meador of Ryle Park, NJ.; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Ellen Wilson Pettrey will be held 1:OOPM Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Rodney Allen officiating.

Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
