Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Walker

Born: November 15, 1939

Elizabeth (Libby) passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Rosewood Village Assisted Living. She was a resident of Crab Orchard until her health failed. She moved to Charlottesville, Virginia to live with her Sister (Opal) and Brother-in-law Andrew. She then later moved to Rosewood Village nearby where she was a beloved and active member of the community helping others with tasks that they could not perform themselves.

All of her working career was as a Legal Secretary with Attorney Warren A. Thornhill, III.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Belle (Cooper) Walker and Gilvin Hayes Walker; two Brothers, Leonard Jackson Walker and Burleigh Edwin Walker, and one Sister Opal Ruth (Walker) Bell. She is survived by her Brother-in law, Andrew Bell, Sister-in-law Joan Walker, Sister-in-law Connie Walker Bruce, as well as, Nephews (Rick Walker, Randy Walker, Paul Walker and David Bell), their spouses and multiple Great Nieces and Nephews. Her love for her family was strong and resolute.

Libby will always be remembered for her loving nature and gentle care for all of her family members. May she rest in peace and live forever in all of our hearts.
