Edna Leola Helems

Edna Leola Grose Niday Helems of Beaver, WV passed away at her home on Wednesday May 10, 2017. Born at Allen Creek, WV on December 24, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Al Lewis Grose and Eliza Smith. Mrs. Helems was a retired telephone company employee. In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by a son, Timothy Niday; husband, Lewis Niday; sister, Macie Moore; brother, Billy Grose; husband, Romia Helems and a nephew, Scott Hickman. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Jenny Grose Hickman; brother, Jimmy Grose and beloved caregivers, Patricia Ratliff and nephew, William Grose; also many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Glen Kuhn officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may gather with the family Monday from 12-1 PM at the funeral home.
