Dewayne Lynn Vass

Dewayne Lynn Vass 63 of Princeton passed away Wednesday May 3, 2017. Born August 11, 1953, he was the son of Frances Farruggia Vass and the late, Carl E. Vass. In addition to his father, Dewayne is preceded in death by his brother, William Joseph Vass. Dewayne attended the Princeton Church of God. He was the owner of Healthcare Therapy and Medical Massage in Princeton and Beckley, WV. He enjoyed his condo, boat riding, the beach, animals and spending time with family and friends. Those left to cherish his memories include his mother, Frances Vass of Rhodell; sister, Melissa Vass of Rhodell, brother, Carl E. Vass, II and wife, Nancy Vass of Elyria, OH; nephew, Carl J. Vass and wife, Jennifer Vass of Elyria, OH and great-niece, Eliana Vass of OH. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Rev. Gary Eskins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may gather with the family from 11 – 1 pm at the funeral home.
