Devonna D Hensley

Devonna D. Gilkerson Hensley, 60 of Shady Spring passed away peacefully at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. Born January 5, 1956, she was the daughter of the late William and Willie Mae Ewing Gilkerson.

Devonna enjoyed shopping, camping, cooking and being with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 44 years, Dennis Hensley of Shady Spring; son, Jason Hensley of Shady Spring; daughter, Crystal Hensley and companion, Mark Lee of Hanover; brother, Billy Gilkerson of Stanaford; sister; Judy Bailey of Stanaford; three grandchildren, Connor and Brody Lee, and Kinnlie Hensley.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 12, 2016 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Bill Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may gather with the family Monday from 1 – 2 PM at the funeral home.
