Dennis was a devout Christian that loved four wheeling, outdoor activities, and cooking. He was a semi driver for 20 years.
Including his parents he will be reunited with his brother Roger Gillispie.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Claudia Gillispie, son; Dennis Gillispie Jr., step-children; Christopher Copley, Heather Copley, Thomas Harper Jr., Tiffani Held, Kayla Harper, a sister; Connie Strickland, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
His services will be held Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Vernon Sears officiating at 2PM. The family will begin receiving visitors at 12PM. In honor of his wishes he will be cremated at a later date.
