Dallas E Harrah

Born March 23, 1946, at Backus Mountain, WV he was the son of the late Donald Harrah and Violet Goins Harrah.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, and mother of his girls, Bonnie Harrah; Sisters June Harrah, Illene Harrah, Imogene Harrah and Leona Vandall; brothers Melvin Harrah, Ernie Harrah, and Dale Harrah.

Dallas loved his family, being outdoors hunting and fishing, listening to gospel music, and beer. He had a great sense of humor and loved to share memories of his early years on Backus Mountain and living in Chicago.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Melissa Menei (Mickey) of Oak Hill, and Becky Pack (Scott) of Oak Hill; grandchildren Nicolas "Nico" Menei (Brittney), Taylor Menei Hall (Nick), and Jerod Pack (Tyler); great grandchildren Layla, Lydia, Lucas and Londyn Menei, brother Nelson Harrah; brother in law and life-long friend, Larry Vandall, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 19, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Milburn Pack officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 am until the time of service.

Dallas will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
