She was born on August 23, 1920 .

Daisey was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter C. Bennett, her father, J.H. Adkins and mother, Sarah Adkins. Sisters, Maureen Meadows,

Myrtle Richmond, Lola Bennett, Beulah Adkins, Goldie Patterson, Sadie Bragg and brothers, Raymond Adkins and Ernest Plumley.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kay Tucker (Kenneth), Statesville, NC, Granddaughters, Cheryl Lilly (Brian), Syndell Lawhon (David), and Tammy Tucker, Knoxville, TN, Sisters, Blanche Woods and Josephine Chandler, Beckley, WV

Six Great-grandchildren and three Great-great grandchildren.

Graveside rites will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m..

In keeping with current health restrictions all guest must wear a facial covering.
