Charles "Chuck" Robert Hensley

Charles " Chuck" Robert Hensley was born on November 16, 1953 in Kopperston, WV to his late parents Charles "Junior" and Colleen (Moore) Hensley. He went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2020 in Beckley, WV at the age of 66.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Brenda Beitz, Robin Johnston, and Margie Hensley; uncle Charles Robert Moore; and his beloved beagle Beau. Chuck leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Marie Hensley; daughter Stephanie (David) Adkins; son Charles (Tiffany) Hensley Jr.; 3 grandsons Zachary Adkins, Justin and Brett Hensley; sisters Linda (Johnny) Grimes and Patricia Hensley; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his loving beagles Daisy and Luke.

Chuck was an outdoorsman who loved to be outside in the wilderness. He enjoyed spending time mowing his grass as well as his neighbors yards on his John Deere tractor. During the winter when mowing was not an option he liked to watch Nascar and plow snow on his tractor. He also enjoyed restoring his 1969 El Camino with his friend Mark Lester.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 1-3 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. A Memorial Service celebrating Chuck's life will begin at 3 pm. In lieu of flower, donations may be made to the Raleigh County Humane Society in memory of Chuck at http://hsrcwv.org/donate/.
