Carolyn Diane Harris

Carolyn Diane Ewing Harris "Nana", 73 years old, passed away Thursday, May 20th at her home in Beckley. She was born July 22nd, 1947 in Prince WV to Raymond and Phyllis Ewing and was of the Baptist religion.

She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, class of 1965, was a previous employee of the US Postal Service and she was retired from Southern WV Convention and Visitors Bureau.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Roger Dale Harris, her sister Nancy Patterson, her brothers Franklin and Larry Ewing, and her niece Amy Ewing.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her beloved daughters Michelle Haga and Jennifer Harris of Beckley. She was a proud Nana to Brittani Harris, Krista Harris, Gus Haga, Katrina Shay Harris, Cheyenne Deems, Harley Haga and her treasured great grandchildren Elijah Harris, Presley Adkins, Logan Deems, and Iris Lilly. She is also survived by her sisters Barbara Wood, Sharon and Jim Smith, Alvetta Chapman and several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 24th at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley.

Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 to service time.

Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
