CAROLYN “PEGGY” J. BRAMMER Carolyn “Peggy” J. Brammer, 83, of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2015. Born January 31, 1932; she was a daughter of the late Homer and Mable Sheets. Peggy loved going to church and was a long time member of the Mabscott Baptist Church and a member of the Stanaford Road Baptist Church; she also enjoyed listening to Pastor John C. Hagee on television. She enjoyed going to the mall with her sister and niece. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Brammer; a son, James Timothy Brammer; great-grandson, Trenton Spurgin; 2 brothers; and 7 sisters. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughters, Debra Spurgin and husband, Bill of Texas and Cathy Dixon and husband, Roger of NC; 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Bellamy and husband, James of Beckley; two brothers, Dick Sheets and wife, Bev of Montana and Charles Sheets and wife, Pat of Nevada; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Services to celebrate the life of Carolyn “Peggy” J. Brammer will be held 2:00PM Friday, March 6, 2015 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Lyle Zickafoose officiating. Following the services Peggy will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
