Born December 27, 1943 in Minden, WV. She lived her life as a homemaker for 50 plus years in Mabscott, WV.
She was a very active member of Mabscott Baptist Church for 48 years and the Ladies Prayer Group.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Irene Blake; her grandparents and brother, Roger Blake; and her loving husband, James Ellison of 53 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, James Ellison II of Mabscott, WV, Richard and wife Theresa of Monroe, GA, Ronald and wife Jennifer of Monroe, GA; three grandchildren, Isaac Ellison and wife Macy of Dallas, GA, Nicholas Ellison of Monroe, GA, Emaleigh Ellison of Monroe, GA; one great-granddaughter, Adleigh Jo of Dallas, GA; three siblings, Gene Blake of Sophia, WV, Loretta Graham of Beckley, WV, David Blake and wife Sue of Falls Church, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, church family, and neighbors.
She will be missed by all.
Graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made in her memory to the Bowers Hospice House.
