Billie Frances Allen

Billie Frances Allen, 85 of Mount Hope, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016, following a long illness. Born April 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harry Goodman and Celestina Vires. Billie was a member of North Sandbranch Worship Center, and enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, working in her garden, and visiting and being with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Birkie Allen; one son, Sidney Allen; and sister, Patty Goodman. Those left to cherish Billie’s memory include her two sons, John Allen of Prosperity, Randall Allen of Maple Fork; four grandchildren: Johnny Allen II, Kevin Wayne Allen, Nathan Allen, Ryan Allen, and two great-grandchildren. Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 12-1pm at Blue Ridge funeral Home. The Funeral service will begin at 1pm, the same day, with Pastor Ken Souder officiating.
