Betty Lou McCoy

Mrs. Betty Lou McCoy, age 89, of Mabscott WV departed this world with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, November 8, 2020. Born on February 26, 1931 in Sullivan, WV she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lula Malcolm. Betty was the youngest of seven children. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband Don McCoy

Betty was a true reflection of God's Love. Her family was the center of her life and she was the center of her family. She loved spending time with her children, reading, working puzzles, camping, gardening and canning. She was a kind and loving soul who was full of compassion for others. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children John Johnson and wife Diane of Virginia, Jackie Johnson of Texas, Jerry Johnson and wife Chris of Utah, Judy Johnson-Radford and husband Steve of West Virginia, Carl McCoy and wife Heather of West Virginia, and Katherine Clay and husband Walt of West Virginia. Her loving grandchildren include Sean Johnson and wife Ginny of Virginia, Chris Johnson and girlfriend Denise Stevens of Virginia, Beau Johnson and wife Kristen of Texas, Jessica Weld and husband Peter of Texas, Keith Johnson of Texas, Nicole Hatch and husband Jordan of Utah, Katrina Johnson of Utah, Jennilee Johnson and fiancé Dean Bailey of West Virginia, Carl Donavan McCoy of West Virginia , Hannah Durham and husband Jonathan of Virginia and Clayton Miller of West Virginia. She was also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

A graveside ceremony will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 12:00pm. Rev. Kent Prell will be officiating.
