Barbara Susan Prunest, 76, of Maple Fork, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Barbara was born March 31, 1947 in Matewan, WV to the late Charlie Gooslin and Easter Ferrell Gooslin.
Barbara enjoyed sewing, canning, caring for others, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Charles, Jack, and Geneva.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Pamela (Jerry), Rhonda (David), and Brian (Teresa); sisters, Linda Fraley and Minnie Evans; grandchildren, Sarah, Clayton, Tessia, Hayley; great grandchildren, Rinley, Zander, and Zavery; and her companion, James Lilly.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ruby Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion they provided.
Funeral service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 – 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
