Born December 12, 1939 in Beckley. She was the daughter of the late John and Sophia Banco.
Ms. Holliday was a homemaker, who was loved by everyone she met and never met a stranger. She loved to socialize, cook and meet people of all ages.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Richard G. Holliday; brother, John Banco, formerly of Bluefield, WV.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Rick Holliday and wife Christy of Fayetteville, WV; daughter, Debbie Holliday Pressley and husband Tim of Indian Trail (Lake Park) NC; caregiver and close friend, Gina Harbaugh of Beckley; nephews, Steve Banco of Washington, PA and Mark Banco of NY; granddaughter, Rebekah Workman and husband Justin of Fayetteville; grandson, Caleb Holliday and Joseph Holliday both of Fayetteville.
Services will be held 2pm, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Avaurn Staples officiating.
Friends may call from one hour prior the funeral service.
Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Caleb Holliday, Joseph Holliday, Tom Boardwine, Justin Workman, Steve Banco and Tim Pressley serving as pallbearers.
