Some of her many hobbies include reading, bowling, and rock collecting. She was an educator for more than 50 years and girls volleyball coach where she touched many lives. She was a master of the art of conversation and would gladly share this skill with everyone she met.
Those who preceded her in death include her husband Dewey Rakes, her parents, and siblings.
Those who are left to cherish her memory include, her daughter Marlene Birchfield; her son George and wife Dede Parrish; grandsons, Nick Birchfield and Logan Parrish; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Anise Sue’s final wishes a cremation will take place with no services to follow. The family appreciates all condolences and moments of reflection to the memories she has left behind.
