Al was a combat wounded disabled Vietnam Veteran. He lived his life on his own terms. He was a character. If you were able to enter his world, you were loved. Al was giving to a fault. He enjoyed westerns, Andy Griffith, and all of the judge shows, with his favorite being, as he would say, "Judy, Judy, Judy!". Al's cat, Buddy was his best friend and loyal companion. He was treated like a Kitty King. Al enjoyed watching and feeding wildlife at his home.
After a brief illness, Al spent the last two and one half years living the "Good Life" with his daughter, Dawn. Many evenings were spent with Dawn enjoying 420 festivities and laughing until they cried. Al will be greatly missed but is now pain free and watching over us all. You were blessed if you were on his call list and "just calling to say I LOVE YOU" was his thing. In lieu memorial contributions, please call those you love just to say "I love you" in his memory.
