He was born February 9, 1971 in Mullens, West Virginia. Scottie was a 1989 graduate of Mullens High School. He attended Saulsville Baptist Church and Sand Gap Old Regular Baptist Church. He was an avid Nascar fan, enjoyed traveling and loved camping. He liked working search and find puzzles and jig saw puzzles, fishing, and being with his family. He stole the hearts of all that knew him. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Those preceding him in death are his maternal and paternal grandparents; two aunts, Alma and Jackie.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory is his brother, Chris Clay and wife Stacy, their children, Brittaney, Corey and Michalee and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many other friends and family that will miss him dearly.
Friends may gather with the family at Saulsville Baptist Church, Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 6-9 pm.
Services will be held at the church, Friday, December 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Michael Knotts officiating. Burial will follow at Shrewsbury Cemetery in Barkers Ridge.
