Robert “Rob” Anderson Moody was born in Forest Grove, Oregon October 23rd, 1981 to Suzanne and George Moody. Rob grew up in Portland, Oregon and as a kid, Rob did many outdoor activities. He was a Cub Scout and Scout through 9th grade, and he enjoyed golfing, skiing, boating, sailing and traveling. He attended Central Catholic High School and graduated in 2001. Rob also attended University of Portland for two years.
On September 10th, 2011, Rob married Jean Schiedler at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Together they enjoyed traveling, trying new foods, going to Chef Tastings, spending time with family and friends, and had gotten into boating. Rob held numerous home improvement jobs through the years, and he left his hard working and creative touch in many homes in the Portland Area. Rob had a particular passion for improving his own home with renovation projects inside and out.
Rob is preceded in death by his father, George E. Moody, who died in 1987 of multiple sclerosis.
Rob is survived by his wife, Jean Moody; his daughters, Kylie and Harper Moody; his mother, Suzanne Moody-Farman; his step-father, Roy Farman; and many in-laws, including 10 nieces and nephews.
A Catholic Funeral Rite will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Beaverton, OR, with a light refreshment immediately following the service. All are welcome to attend.
A memorial service at Mill Plain United Methodist Church in Vancouver, WA will be held at a later time with more details to come as they are arranged.
