

Marge Elkins died Sunday, November 15th with her family by her side.
Marge was born December 1, 1937 in La Grande, OR to William (Bill) and Geneva Gable. She spent the first four years of her life in Kamela, OR where Bill worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. Then the family moved to Roy, Oregon to a 40 acre farm. Marge attended St. Francis of Assisi School through 8th grade, and then attended St. Mary of the Valley High School where she graduated in 1956.
After graduation, Marge worked for First National Bank on 14th and Morrison in downtown Portland. She married Milo L. Elkins in 1958. Marge and Milo raised their five children in Portland, OR.
Marge was a warm, generous and loving mother and friend. She had many friends from her years involved at St. Pius X Catholic Church, her neighborhood, her work in the Beaverton School District and her last home at Terwilliger Plaza.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband Milo. She is survived by her sister Judy Salomone of Texas, her children Jeff and Kim Elkins, Leslie and Eric Redman, Mary Jo and Carl Mead, Linda and Tom Peterson, Lori Elkins and Becky Johnson, her ten grandchildren Owen (and Angie), Taylor (and Josh), Allison (and Kevin), Olivia (and Chris), Harrison, Lauren, Will, Adam, Henry and Ellie, and great-grandchildren, Hailey, Nakiah, Emma, Aubrey, Bennett and (unborn) Baby Lamberson.
A rosary will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 20th at St. Pius X Catholic Church, followed by a mass at 10:30 and a reception.
