Linda attended Duniway grade school and Cleveland High School which she was honored to represent in the 1961 Rose Festival, where she was crowned queen.
Professional fashion modeling in Portland for Nordstrom, Meier & Frank, Pendleton Woolen Mills, and Jantzen was her career for over 30 years. And, interior design was her avocation always.
At heart, she was a dancer, when no one was looking, and a lover of the sun, moon, stars, desert, and sea.
Sometimes life was a bit crazy, but it was mostly rich and full of blessings with her friends and family whom she adored.
She was a daughter to caring parents, Russ and Nan Fuqua (deceased), sister to older brother Gary Fuqua, and adoring wife to adoring Chuck Anderson (deceased). She was the proud mother to Lindsey Burdett, Kristin Kirk (Brian), and Marissa Fuqua Miller (Damon). And she was delighted to be Grammy to Eliza, Sam, and George Kirk; and Helena and Sayer Miller.
The family asks, that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Friends of the Columbia Gorge and the Orcas (Island) Center.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.peggpaxsonspringerfuneralhome.com for the Fuqua-Anderson family.
