Jason was born December 6, 1985 in Portland, OR. Jason lived 33 courageous years with Muscular Dystrophy. Jason graduated from Southridge High School and attended George Fox University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in History.
Jason is survived by his father, Rick Wessell and his mother and step-father Jan and Dave Yutzy; grandparents Dick and Sandy Wessell; and uncle Lance Wessell.
