James (Jim) F. Hand died November 26, 2012, at the age of 65 in Hermiston, Oregon. He was born June 24, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Reva (Aldrich) Hand.
Jim was a veteran of the Army and a long time member of the VFW. He retired from law enforcement as a police officer with the Cornelius Police Department.
Jim is survived by his wife Alice, his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be December 6, 2012, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., followed be a funeral service at 9:30 a.m. at Pegg, Paxson, & Springer Funeral Chapel in Beaverton; burial with VFW military honors will be at 12:00 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
