Our country lost a proud Vietnam Veteran & Washington Husky when Ernest Oliver Erickson, Jr. passed on May 1st, 2018. Ernie was devotedly raised in Renton, WA by Lula & Ernest Erickson, Sr. His stubbornness was lovingly tolerated by his spouse, Nikki Carey, for 52 years. His love and affection for his children, grandchildren, and great grandson will be everlasting. “Goofy Grandpa” will be remembered for his countless hats, flipping pancakes on the griddle, being an almanac of sports history and his love of In-n-Out Burgers. Ernie will be memorialized with military honors on May 14th at 10:30 am at Willamette National Cemetery.
