Aubrey was born August 5, 1924, in Spikard, Mo. He proudly served in the United States Navy during both WWII and the Korean War. He remained in the Naval Reserves for 27 years. Outside of his service in the Navy, Aubrey made his living as an accountant. He made his home in Kansas City, Mo with his wife Vera, whom he married in 1949, and their only daughter, Vicky.
In 1994, Aubrey and his wife Vera joined their daughter and grandchildren in Oregon, making their new home in Portland, Oregon.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his wife, Vera. Survivors include his daughter, Vicky Maurseth; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
