Web loved working on the water; dredge boats, shipyards, and push boats. He missed his crew, longing to be back shoving those jumbo barges in the Houston Ship Channel. Entertaining friends and family with all kinds of magic tricks with dice, cards, rope, etc. made him happy as did playing the guitar, the keyboard, the harmonica, and the accordion. Making people happy was a favorite pastime. He loved playing with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Playing forty-two kept him on his toes. Webster was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 for family and friends at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service celebrating the life of Webster James Bergeron, Jr., with Reverend Colbert Steele presiding will follow at 10:00 a.m. with burial following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, both in Beaumont.
The family thanks friends and extended family for their continual prayers, calls, and notes during his illness. Thank each one of you for your love and support.
