Mr. Teddy Lee Mahan

Teddy L. Mahan, age 80, died Friday, February 21, 2014 in Beaumont, TX. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Mr. Mahan was born in Houston, TX on July 15, 1933. He served in the United States Navy during the Koran War. Teddy was a charter member of Northwood Christian Church and an elder emeritus.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cleah Jo Mahan and his parents, Oliver Leslie Mahan, Sr. and Hazel White. Two brothers, Oliver Leslie Mahan, Jr. and Jeff Edward Mahan.

Survivors include his wife Carol Mahan of Beaumont, TX. A daughter, Deborah Baugh of Groves, TX. Three sons, Frank Mahan and his wife Janice of Groves, TX Ed Mahan and his wife Betty of Vidor, TX, and Terry Mahan and his wife Donna of Groves, TX. A step-son Chris Harold and his wife Candice of Nederland, TX and two step-daughters, Ticia Ivey and her husband Steven of Sulpher, LA and Shawna Hudnall and her husband Jerod of Plano, TX. One brother, Joe Alan Mahan of Irving, TX and one sister, Olga Mortsen of CA. Two brother-in-laws, Bob Baxter of OK and Bill Baxter and his wife Pam of Aurora, CO. Two sister-in-laws, Shelia Baxter and her husband Tony Carra of Caslterock, CO and Jody Priester and her husband Bob of Humphrey, NE. Twenty one grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
