Susan Eileen Smallwood

Susan Eileen Smallwood, 58, of Beaumont, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Class of 1981 Graduate from French High School in Beaumont. Eileen was a Home Health Care Sitter. Eileen loved her animals, reading, and especially her family, she loved the old and the young and was very active in her church.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Beaumont.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Eloise Smallwood Jr., her aunts, Billie McClure Pearce, Patsy Mims, Joyce Smallwood Gentry, and Jean Smallwood Spell, and her uncle E.W. "Buddy" Patterson.

Eileen is survived by her cousin, Gayla DeRouen and her husband Steve of Nederland, her aunts and uncle, Robbie and Rev. W. E. "Earl" Shiflet of Palestine, TX., Lanelle Smallwood Bozman of Lumberton, and Carolyn Patterson of Nacogdoches, Texas, and a host of cousins and family.
