Sharon grew up in Mammoth, WV and moved to Nederland, TX when she was 16. Sharon was married and began raising a family, moving across the country until finally ending up in Vidor, TX. She loved to play Wahoo and Ms. Pac-Man, and watching her daytime soap operas and courtroom television shows. She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. But the most important part of Sharon life was being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family, devoting her life and love to them.
Sharon is survived by her sister Carolyn Hannah; daughter Tina Jiminez; son Floyd Jiminez Jr.; son Shane Jiminez and wife Lisa; and daughter Brandi Sons and husband Steve; grandchildren Nicole Jiminez, Lauren Bazely and husband Sean, Shelby Jiminez, Jarred Jiminez, Tara Davis, James Davis and wife Chelsea, Will Jiminez and wife Morgan, Julia Jiminez, Eric Williamson, Brenden Williamson, Camden Walther, Iris Michele, and Tray Sons. Sharon also leaves behind 18 great grandchildren to share her memory.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry Traylor, and daughter Melissa Jiminez.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Sharon will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 5:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine, Beaumont, Texas 77703. A Celebration of Sharon's life will occur Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with her burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Assurance.
Serving as pallbearers are Floyd Jiminez Jr., Shane Jiminez, Steve Sons, Brenden Williamson, Eric Williamson and Chris Myers.
