Rose Marie Gussman, 80, of Beaumont, died Friday, June 21, 2013 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, she was born on October 17, 1932 to Raphael and Antonio Carlin. Survivors include her brother, Sylvan Carlin and his wife, Ramona of Beaumont; nieces and nephews, Nick Carlin and his wife, Julie of Sour Lake; Ron Carlin and his wife, Chelsea of Nederland; Diana Jayasinghe and her husband, Achila of Copperas Cove; Anthony Carlin; Edward Carlin; and many other loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger “Buddy” Gussman.
A gathering of Mrs. Gussman’s family and friends will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
