Rayford was born in Jefferson County, Texas on January 16, 1964 to Rayford E. Harris, Sr. and Margaret Jewel Haynes Harris. He grew up in Vidor, Texas and was a member of the Welders Union 195. His joy was found in the birth of his sons in 1981 and 1989.
He had a passion for fishing and hunting and being a "Pepaw". He was caring and funny and loved to share his wild stories.
Rayford was preceded in death by his parents Rayford Harris, Sr. and Margaret Haynes Harris.
Those left behind to carry on Rayford's memory are his sisters, Delores Bobbitt and her husband Keith, and Margaret Ann and her husband Tony; his sons, Kenneth M. Bryan and Rayford E. Harris III and his wife Lisa; his grandchildren, Alizah Bryan, Kahleyn Bryan, Zoey Harris, Emily Harris, Kylie Harris, Kynsley Harris, Waylon Harris, and Whitley Harris.
