Peter "Da" Allen Kotz

Peter “Da” Allen Kotz, a lifelong resident of the Beaumont/Wildwood areas passed away on Sunday October 29, 2017. Mr. Kotz was born February 24, 1935 in Anahuac, Texas to his parents Pierce Oldham and Iva Estelle Toomey Oldham who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his adoptive parents Alma and Rudolph Kotz and five brothers. Peter worked as a Lab Foreman for Texas US Chemical. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Central Gardens Baptist Church of Nederland. He had several hobbies which included playing golf, hunting, fishing, and gold prospecting. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years; Ellna Kotz of Wildwood, sons; Daniel Kotz and wife Heather of Fannett, David Kotz of Austin, daughter; Kathy Price and husband Roger of Pt. Arthur, brother; Arley Oldham of Jacksonville, six grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday November 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
