Nelson Ray Johnson

Nelson Ray Johnson, 73, of Beaumont died Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at his residence. A native of Buna, he has lived in Beaumont for 50+ years, and was a retired equipment operator with the City of Nederland. Nelson enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

A Celebration Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

Nelson was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Ruby Johnson, brother Walter Johnson, and his sister Janie Reid.

Nelson is survived by his loving wife Deborah Johnson of Beaumont, sons Michael Ray Johnson and his wife Cherie, Patrick Wayne Johnson and his wife Jenifer, and Timothy Aaron Johnson and his wife Dawn all of Nederland, brother Wayne Johnson and his wife Janaya of Bryan, sister June Ledesma and her husband Ricky of Euless, and his sister-in-law Kitti Johnson of Nederland. Nelson is also survived by his nine grand children Zac, Payne,Colby, Baylee, Searah, Kayden, Briar, Kalee, and Cheyenne, and his great granddaughter Kristen.
