Minnie Faye Cuniff Turnipseed, 81, of Beaumont passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Minnie was born September 11, 1930, in Beaumont, Texas to John R. Cuniff and Mamie Kilpatrick Cuniff and has lived in Beaumont all of her life.
Minnie is survived by her son, Richard Crenshaw of Baytown; daughter, Dyann Backhus of Orange; brother, John Guidry of Port Arthur; sister, Betty McKinzie of Livingston; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her great grandson, Richard Wallace Crenshaw.
A gathering of her family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
