Catherine was born on March 17, 1945, to Fidencio "Lance" Romero Cisneros and Juanita Gayton Cisneros.
Catherine met the love of her life Harold Pelt, Jr., and were married on August 14, 1964.
Catherine worked for Rogers Brothers Industry for over 20 years where she retired and went back to work for BISD for several years.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harold Pelt, Jr., her mother Juanita Cisneros, father Fidencio "Lance" Romero Cisneros, and sister Lou "Lupe" Saldana.
Survivors include her one and only daughter Dana Michelle Smith and husband Quinton Smith, Sr., grandsons Quinton Smith, Jr. and wife Ashanti, Emmanuel Smith, Sr., and wife Kiamani, Brandon Smith, and granddaughter Trinity Smith. Great grandsons, Emmanuel "Deuce" Smith, Jr., Quinton "Trey" Smith III, and great granddaughter Emeryl Smith all of Beaumont. Sister Delores Garcia and her husband Michael and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Thursday January 4, 2023 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow. Services will be held in the Chapel at Forest Lawn located at 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX 77703.
