Our “Nana” loved to cook, do puzzles, play Rummikub and she was the best at Wheel of Fortune. We all told her she would be a millionaire if she ever got on the show! If you ever had the chance to play Rummikub with her, we doubt you ever won. She was a master until the end! We all remember her delicious shrimp gumbo and her special banana pudding she only made for her grandchildren. You could always find her with the daily crossword puzzle in her hands, as well as yesterday’s finished on her side table. She was so much fun and loved by all, we will miss her smile as well as her wise cracks! But we find so much comfort in knowing she will be spending eternity with Jesus.
Mary Joyce will be laid to rest on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Forrest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. We will gather for a reception at 12pm that will be followed by a graveside service at 1pm.
