Mary is survived by her son Scott Jennings of Beaumont, Texas, with Grandson Joshua Jennings & Wife Ashley. Great Grandchildren Kennedy & Witten. Granddaughter Justina & Husband Ryan. Great Grandchildren Knox & Tucker to-be. Daughter Vickie Shaw & Wife Lori Patsch of League City, Tx. Grandson Mathew Shaw & Wife Alyse. Great Grandchildren Stevie Rae & Norah. Grandson Wesley Shaw & Wife Tiffany. Great Grandchildren Olivia, Sophia & Isbella. Granddaughter Hayley Morris & Husband Eric. Great Grandchildren Effie & Everett. Step Daughter Sandy Mitchell of Woodville, Tx. And Grandchildren Melinda, Kenneth, Dixie, Nikki, and Vonnie & numerous Great Grandchildren.
She worked for Sun Oil Company and later retired from Buckner's Children Village as an Executive secretary. She was a faithful member of North End Baptist Church of Beaumont, Texas and a dedicated volunteer for Baptist Hospital and numerous other activities at her church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Horace Walter Hollowell and Effie Grace Hollowell; her brothers James Lexi Hollowell; Tom Bernice Hollowell; Walter Dewayne Hollowell and Billy Gene Hollowell.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703, followed by a celebration of Mary's life at 2:00 PM. with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX 77703 Garden of Devotion.
Serving as pallbearers are Scott Jennings, Joshua Jennings, Wesley Shaw, Ryan Beard, John Bartlett and Trent Mattison.
