Martha June Dorrell, 81, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at her residence. Martha was born June 6, 1930, in Cisco, Texas and had lived in Vidor since 1967. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of Westgate Church of Christ in Beaumont.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Winston Dorrell; son, Michael Lowell Davis; daughters, Elizabeth Abbott and Laurie Davis; step-sons, Jeffrey Dorrell, Perry C. Dorrell and James Winston Dorrell; step-daughter, Jean Ann Troup and nine grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
