Martha Ann Brown Franklin, age 75 of Lumberton, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 in Beaumont, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Brown, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Franklin was born in Beaumont, Texas on October 18, 1939 to the late Perry Duncan Brown, Sr. and Doris Virginia Dennis Brown. Martha was a member of the Lumberton Church of Christ and was a former member of the League Street Church of Christ in Sulpher Springs, TX. She worked many years with the Sulpher Springs ISD as a teacher’s aide and librarian.
Survivors include her two brothers, Douglas Brown and his wife Joyce of Copperas Cove, TX and PD Brown and his wife Joyce of Lumberton, TX. One sister, Raye Dorrell and her husband Dwain of Beaumont, TX. As well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.
