Lynlie worked with us in the Office of Graduate Studies.  She quickly became more than a co-worker, she was a friend.  She was always so kind to everyone who visited or called our office.  

The one thing I'll remember most about Lynlie were her great hugs.  She knew exactly when you needed one and she gave it freely and joyfully. 

A wonderful memory of time spent with Lynlie was the day she had a dinner date and we all gathered to help her get ready.  We got busy fixing her hair and makeup (not that she needed it, Lynlie was a natural beauty.)  She looked absolutely beautiful! We were all so excited for her and wanted her to have a fabulous time.  Such great memories.

My heart is broken that we've lost you, Lynlie, but I know you are flying high with the angels and you are in your glory with your best friend, Jesus.  

My deepest sympathy to Spencer, whom was her greatest joy and her most valuable treasure, and to her entire family.  I know Lynlie will look after us all, because that's just who she was....

Lynlie was always a shining light at Lamar University. I met her in Grad Studies and then worked in the same building with her in Digital Learning. She was truly a kind woman with never a bad thing to say about anyone. She will be very missed. My hopes and prayers for peace are with the family. 

I was fortunate to move in across from your parents and see what a great daughter and loving mother you were.  You will be missed.

My favorite memories are of our together times at Caddo Gap, Arkansas.  My other favorite memories are of a time when I enjoyed helping Lynlie with moving into and setting up her new apartment home.  Rest in peace, Lynlie.  I always loved you very very much.  Sincerely, Michele Modica

Lynlie and graduated high school together.  I never saw her between 1981 and  2013 until I started working at Lamar and we crossed paths.  She was just as sweet as she was 32 years earlier!  I enjoyed our interactions and conversations we've had over the last 8-9 years.  She talked so much about Spencer and her Mom.  

Spencer, your Mom will always be a part of who you are.   You keep on making good choices and making your Momma proud!   

My favorite memory of you is when you fell asleep under a tree in your parent's yard reading a book in the Summer. 
You awoke to pink skin with white leaf prints all over you from the leaves on the tree. I couldn't stop laughing. You were so upset & embarrassed. I finally got you laughing over it. We laughed & laughed about it for days.
I pray this story brings laughter to your loved ones during this difficult time. We had a lot of great times as children together.
Your sweet nature & kindness will be forever etched in our hearts. You will be missed greatly.  RIP my sweet childhood friend. 💕💔

We met in high school, each of us were crushing on each other's brothers...that schoolgirl silliness led to a lifetime friendship. No matter which direction our lives went, we always stayed in touch. I will miss your beautiful spirit as I'm certain, that void will be felt by many! I never got to meet Spencer, but I always felt as if I knew him through your love and admiration. My sorrow is for him most of all, because of the loss I know he will have until you meet again. Condolences to the entire family 

I have many sweet memories of Lynlie at the family reunion! Who's cabin to sleep over, or run to the water for the usual all day swim!  It has been many years since those days. But they seem like yesterday!

Lynlie was always such a joy to work with.  I will never forget the kindness she showed me and the smile she always wore on her face. To this day,  I am still grateful for her generosity when I gave birth to my now 4 year old son. She was so excited for me. She will be oh so missed. 

I have lots of good memories with Lynlie.  I am thankful to have celebrated Family gatherings and holidays with Lynlie over the years.  I will miss you, and I love you, Sister.

LYNLIE AND ME WERE BOYFRIEND AND GIRLFRIEND IN SCHOOL. WE WENT TO THE Junior and senior prom even though she was a freshman. We have always had a unconditional love with each other. She will always be in my heart and my memories.

My best friend with me when I decided to do crazy things. She was more than just a friend she was my sister and we did many things together and enjoy time together always she will always be in my heart and my memories .

This all seems so unreal. I just saw you and just visited with you. Landon and Scarlett loved you so much, they loved their Auntie Lyn. I talked with Landon about you last night and he wanted to pray for you. You were so loved and will be dearly missed. Until we see each other again. We love you very much.

Dear Lynlie, You will always be in my heart, and I love you forever!

I will dearly miss my beautiful cousin Lynlie! I am heartbroken that she is gone. I treasure my thousands of memories growing up together and throughout the years. She was so kind, sweet, gentle, and loving. I loved her so much. 
I celebrate her meeting with Jesus and the joy and peace she now has. 

My Sister Lynlie is and always will be with me in Spirit and in my Heart. I Love her Dearly. She raised a precious son, Spencer. She was a beautiful soul, a wonderful sister and a best friend to me. Lynlie is with our Lord Jesus Christ, surrounded by Angels and loved ones.  My grandchildren adored their Auntie Lyn. Lynlie and I had plans to take road trips to see family and go on a cruise. My precious sister will be greatly missed on this earth. And one day I will see her, my mom and dad and others in heaven. I love you lynlie.

I'm proud to say I'm your little brother. It saddens me that we did not have more time to get to know each other. But I'm glad I was able to spend some time with you.

Lynlie, we will miss you  but I am sure you are rejoicing in Heaven with your mom and dad and Jesus!  I kept your graduation picture all these years.
