Lynda Susan Cain Wilson was born on October 27, 1949 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The sun set on her life and her story ended March 22, 2021. She was the daughter of Colleen Drummond and Raynor "R.L." Cain.
Lynda grew up in Texas and attended Stephen F. Austin High School. She lived in Louisiana for a number of years, moving back to Texas and marrying her husband, George Wilson, in 2000. For several years, Lynda worked at Dillard's for Clinique. She enjoyed helping people and was passionate about skin care.
Lynda was blessed with two children, Stephen W. Kimball born in 1970, and Megan Kimball Pleasants, born in 1976.
Among her many talents, Lynda was an avid gardener. She would spend hours in the yard getting her flower beds ready planting new and exciting flowers. She was an animal lover, and really enjoyed watching Animal Planet as much as possible. She had three cats, all of which adopted her as their guardian. If there was a cat in need, she would feed it and take care of it. All animals could count on her as a friend. Lynda was an avid shopper. She enjoyed her favorite store, Talbot's, and made many friendships with the personnel over the years.
Lynda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband George Wilson, daughter Megan Kimball Pleasants, son-in law Jeffrey Thomas Pleasants, step-son Michael Wilson, and granddaughter Paislee Wilson.
