Lucille was born January 8, 1931 to Deette and Eloise Sollberger Etheredge in Beaumont. Lucille graduated from Beaumont High in 1948. She briefly attended Lamar before going to work for Gulf States Utilities. She married the loved of her life, her high school sweetheart, Wallace Bryan in 1950. They enjoyed 70 years of marriage until his death in 2021. Lucille stayed home and raised her 3 children and was involved in all their activities and PTA, and later she and Wallace became election poll workers. Lucille was very active with Northwood Christian Church, and currently a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Lucille loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and Spades with her Collier Park friends.
A Celebration of Lucille's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will begin at 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents Dee and Eloise Etheredge, and her sister Betty Langston.
Lucille is survived by her son Bill Bryan and wife Cindy, daughters Cindy Williams and her husband Roland, and Betty Richey and her husband Bill. Nana is survived by her grandchildren, Chris Williams, Kim Zapata and her husband Mario, Haylee Bolton and her husband Grady, Jennifer Foxworth and her husband Tyler, Michelle Ullrich and her husband Jake, Jeff Richey and his wife Grace, Tim Richey, Kristin Clayton and her husband Bryce, Craig Richey and his wife Kaitlyn, and fifteen great grandchildren.
