Larry Dean Jeanis, 55, of Vidor, passed away January 23, 2016 in Vidor. Larry was born on October 9, 1960 in Beaumont to Charles and Mary Jeanis. He lived in Vidor since he was 11 years old and graduated from Vidor High School in 1979.
Larry was a huge Dallas Cowboys and University of Texas Football fan. He was a proud member of Pine Forest Baptist Church where he loved singing in the choir and performing in Easter and Christmas programs. The Church and the people of the Church were very important to him. Larry had a heart of gold and always had a happy demeanor.
Larry is survived by his brother, Charles Lawrence Jeanis Jr. of Vidor; aunts, Geraldine Nelson of Beaumont, Clara Johnson of Starks, Louisiana; many cousins and other relatives.
The family will receive friends at Forest Lawn Funeral Home starting at 10:00 AM, on Monday, January 25, 2016
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Monday, January 25, 2016 with Dr. Stephen E. Dollar officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
