Larry Roger Carr

Larry Roger Carr, 74, a fifteen year resident of Ferrum, Virginia coming from Ross County, Ohio, passed away on Thursday November 5, 2015 at his residence in Ferrum, Virginia. Larry was born April 29, 1941 in Ross County, Ohio to his parents Homer Lee and Clara Jane Seymour Carr, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his wife Martha Carr, brother; Don Carr, sister; Janie Carr, and step-daughter; Norma Sterling. Larry was an Electrical Journeyman for H.B. Zachary Inc. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, attending auctions, gun shows, boating, and especially spending time with his loyal companion dog Shipo.

Surviving Larry are his son; Jeffery Carr of Ferrum, Virginia, step-daughter; Kathy Ortiz and husband Jorge of Baytown, brother; Lewis Carr and wife Willa Mae of Springfield, Ohio, sister; Judy Jolly of Urbana, Ohio, six grandchildren; Wanda Spasic, Jowana Ramos and husband Juan, Larry Harrison and wife Rosa, April West, Roger Sterling, Michelle Sterling, twenty great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday November 14, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service time of 1:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
