Kenneth "Kenny" Len Broussard, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 14, 2024, at Focused Care in Orange, Texas. He was born on February 4, 1953, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Howard Broussard and Lillie Newman.
Kenny dedicated his early years to serving his country in the Army, where he earned the rank of SP4 (Private First Class) after 8 years of honorable service. Following his military tenure, Kenny pursued a career as a Petroleum Inspector, demonstrating diligence and expertise in his work.
In the course of his journey, Kenny found love and companionship in Theresa Johns. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.
Kenny found joy in the simplicity of life's pleasures. He cherished moments spent with his friends and family, but it was his role as a grandfather that truly illuminated his heart. His grandchildren and great grandchildren held a special place within him, and he relished in being their guiding light and source of love.
An avid lover of coffee and the outdoors, Kenny found solace in "porch sitting" as he watched the ducks, accompanied faithfully by his service dog, Charlotte. His unwavering loyalty to Charlotte exemplified the depth of his compassion and companionship.
Kenny will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud veteran whose presence touched the lives of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering love.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lillie Broussard. Kenny is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa Broussard; his sons, Jared Broussard, Steven Broussard and wife Kelli Broussard, Anthony Broussard, and Isaac Moore; his sisters, Katie Vincent and Janet Gragg; along with 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family extends their gratitude to all who loved Kenny and invites them to celebrate his life at The Open Door Biker Church in Sulphur, Louisiana, Portie Town , from 1pm to 3pm, where memories and stories can be shared. The address is 423 W Burton St, Sulphur, LA 70663.
